Young Teen Girls Group (ages 12-14)

The Young Teen Girls Group is the space to get really REAL. It is the safe container that every teen girl* needs. A space to be authentically themselves, have vulnerable conversations, explore curiosities, build confidence, engage in mindfulness practices, and cultivate life skills and tools that will support them as they venture into adulthood. This circle is designed to create deep and intentional connections among all community members.

Benefits of the Program

All Topics explored with greater depth due to age and developmental needs:

  • Form healthy, nonjudgemental friendships
  • Deepen understanding of identity exploration
  • Understand and appreciate changing bodies (menstrual cycle, puberty, etc.)
  • Develop self-care & stress-coping strategies
  • Learn how to set boundaries in friendships and relationships
  • Gain clarity on how to take healthy risks
  • Find the voice to self-advocate and engage in healthy communication
  • Creative expression through art, journaling and discussions
  • Improve confidence & self-esteem
  • Explore the benefits of mindfulness within the context of the teen experience
  • Learn to use the breath as a resource to navigate life and difficult situations
  • Connect with others through games and laughter
  • Device-free quality time with peers

Young Teen Girls Group Details

Who: All Girls*, ages 12-14, 8-10 participants TOTAL

  • If you feel like your teen is a fit, but doesn’t fit the age/grade level criteria, please apply.
  • If your teen is at the cusp age of 12, apply for the group you believe is most appropriate for their needs or connect with me for more questions.

When: ONE Sunday per month on 9/15, 10/20, 11/17, 12/8, 1/12, 2/9, 3/2, 4/13, 5/18 at 9:30am-12:30pm (For the late risers, I'll happily feed your kiddo some breakfast snacks as they glide into the start of the day)

Commitment: As many meetings as possible with the intention to participate fully to reap the complete benefits of the community

Where: Neutral Locations in Central Austin - Disclosed to participants upon registration

Communication: Parent/Caregiver connections: 2 connections during the semester (via call or email)


*All teens that identify as female are welcome. BIPOC and LGBTQ+ Affirming.

Pricing: $150/month $110/month* OR $990/year


Payment Options

Due before the FIRST session & by the 1st of each month

Monthly: $110/ month

Annually: $990/ full year

*Pay it Forward: $125/mo.


Please consider the option of "Paying it Forward", which includes gifting an additional amount towards teens in need. Girl Space ATX is committed to making communities like this accessible to ALL teens regardless of financial barriers.
